Letter from Captain James Purefoy to his sister, Mary Turbett, in which he relates his concern about his brother's behaviour towards his mother, his shipwreck in Hainan and asks his sister to find a suitable partner for when he returns to Ireland, dated Madras, July 24th 1805, handwritten 2 pieces, 8 sides.
