Correspondence and legal papers relating to dispute between Yorkshire Cotton Operatives' Association and Haigh & Heppenstall Ltd. The company, which owned Bridge Field Mills in Elland, Yorkshire, was in dispute over overtime payments. The union claimed that the company was bound to observe earlier agreements between AAOCS and spinning employers' associations; whereas the company claimed that as it produced worsted rather than cotton yarn, it was no longer bound by these agreements. The case was heard by the Industrial Court at Leeds in March 1965.
