Scope and Content

LETTERS: Geo. Badcock Gloddaith and Bodafon, to Rev. James Williams, Treffos, and Llanfairynghornwy, remitting the money due to the Penmynydd almshouse from the Mostyn estate. In one letter dated June 1822 he writes that it has been difficult to get bill crows for Mr. Williams of Craig y Don, three having died in one night. In a letter dated July 1824 he refers to the wreck of the Hornby, a misfortune which caused him some personal suffering and loss.
