Piece for Two Pianos, 1968 – 2.) Late 60’s Sketches – 3.) Machaut Arrangement – 4.) Piano Piece’. Includes a transcription marked ‘Machaut. Double Hocket. Triplum’ (ff. 5-6), miscellaneous sketches (ff. 2-3, 7-28), including one entitled ‘Zwischenspiele’ for flute, clarinet, ’cello and celesta (ff. 7-8) and an analytical sketch of Stravinsky’s ‘Le Sacre du Printemps’ (f. 16), and a copy, reproduced in dye-line from the composer’s autograph, of Alexander Goehr’s ‘Fantasia upon Five Notes’ (ff. 29-37, marked ‘Harry’s copy’ on the cover (f. 29).
