Letters to Norman and Yvonne Nicholson from artist Percy [Kelly]. In /1 he describes the activities of himself, his wife Chris (another artist) and their family over the past year: they have moved to Pembrokeshire and opened the Gospel Lane Gallery in their cottage, and they planning an exhibition in Kendal. In /2 he tells Nicholson of an 18-year old boy on holiday in the area who named Nicholson as his favourite poet, and refers to: their recent exhibition in Nicholson's area which got little press coverage, but at which Nicholson purchased a wash drawing; the "deadly dull" local architecture in Pembrokeshire; another exhibition in Kings Lynn; and their decision to move house. In /3 he refers to their forthcoming move to Attleborough in Norfolk and the growing popularity of his artwork. The letters include a number of drawings.
