Scope and Content

From Kathleen E. Morgan, who in /1 thanks Nicholson for lending her his anthology, on which she comments, thanks him for his visit to Edge Hill which both staff and students appreciated, and refers to her work at the school. In /2 she refers to two recent broadcasts by Nicholson [the BBC1 television programme Meeting Point: It Happened to Me, 3 March 1968; and a reading of his poems on BBC Radio 3 on 7 March 1968]. She particularly admires his poem, 'The Riddle' and also refers to: poet Anne Ridler and her work; her own recent attempts to write poetry; and her book [probably Christian Themes in Contemporary Poets (see NCN1/1/95)].

Dated at: Ormskirk Lancs.
