No. 2 General Hospital, Pretoria [but actually written as a patient in the Welsh Hospital]. Is glad that they have gone to Folkestone rather than St Leonard's for their holiday. Hopes they will let his sister [Zelie] remain at school until Christmas. Patient numbers are down and he is seeing less severe cases now. Lots of trains are reaching Pretoria and the Boers are reduced to guerrilla warfare. Collecting sets of 'Kruger money'.
