Administrative / Biographical History

The Club de Dakar was founded on 2-3 December 1974 as a French initiative to improve industrial relations between western industries and Francophone African countries. Following conferences in Birmingham in 1978, a British branch was established and interests were expanded to include Anglophone African countries.
