John Frederick Crothers, Papers

Scope and Content

John Frederick Crothers was employed initially as a galley boy and later as a certified ship's cook with the merchant navy. The papers include a volume recording his certificates of discharge taken from the lists of crew and official log book. The volume records the names of ships on which he served.
