The Capricorn Africa Society was founded in Southern Rhodesia by David Stirling in 1949, with objective of democratic and multi-racial development in East and Central Africa.

Arranged in five sections: Publications, Duplicated Material, Newspaper Cuttings, Correspondence, and Miscellaneous.

Open although advance notice should be given. Access to individual items may be restricted under the Data Protection Act or Freedom of Information legislation.
