Scope and Content

William Trevitt and Micheal Nunn created a series around their quest to create their own original dance work.

In this episode (15min 45sec) they meet with Akram Khan who is making a five minute piece for them. Khan gives them a 'crash course' in Kathak, discusses the differences between Kathak and classical western dance. He also rehearses and improvises with Trevitt and another dancer, combining contemporary dance and Kathak, speaks about the changing relationship between dancers and choreography and the role of the choreographer- originality.
