Scope and Content

Rhuddlan Borough Council was created as a district council in the new county of Clwyd in 1974 (existing from 1973 as a shadow authority). It was abolished after local government reorganisation in 1996, being absorbed into Denbighshire County Council.

Scope and content: Minutes, 1973-1995; annual reports and abstracts/ statement of accounts of the treasurer, 1974-1995; annual estimates of the rating officer, 1974-1996; Chairman's report on annual estimates, 1974-1992; and treasurer's report on general estimates, 1984-1987.
