This collection contains: signed minutes and related papers, 1942-1947; employers' secretary's papers, 1969-1973.

Administrative / Biographical History

This body was made up of representatives of employers and employees. Following the nationalisation of the steel industry in 1968, a member of the trade union relations section of the British Steel Corporation served as the employers' secretary both of this body and of the Sheet Trade Board.
