Some papers relate to organisations other than the RHS including the Midland Daffodil Society, Royal Botanic Society of London, City of London Entomological and Natural History Society, Linnaean Society, Gardeners’ Royal Benevolent Institution, Victoria Institute, the Board of Trade (Exhibitions Branch), the Hampstead Garden Suburb Trust Ltd, the Royal English Arboricultural Society and the Shropshire Horticultural Society, c.1901-1913

Enclosures were removed during cataloguing and stored in a separate folder for preservation purposes, reference EAB/9/2 (2 of 2). They comprise manuscript notes relating to the Scientific Committee, 1902-1903, press cuttings, c.1884-1908, and correspondence relating to the Hybrid Orchid Register and Library and Scientific Committees, 1911-1913

The volume is in good condition but many items pasted in are folded and may be easily torn on opening. Readers are asked to take care when turning pages and unfolding and re-folding folded items. Staff to supervise closely
