Leonard Cheshire Golden Jubilee Collection

Scope and Content

The collection contains papers, publicity material, cuttings and photos illustrating Golden Jubilee celebrations throughout the world.

Administrative / Biographical History

In 1998 the Leonard Cheshire Foundation celebrated the 50th anniversary of its founding. Subsequently it was decided to make a special trawl for the archive of examples of ways in which these celebrations took place worldwide, which were sent to the Archive and saved as a snapshot of the charity's work at this time.
