Scope and Content
Administrative / Biographical History
The Association was founded in December 1907. It merged with the West Midlands Engineering Employers' Association (MSS.265) in 1984. The West Midlands Association now forms the largest of the Engineering Employers' Federation's thirteen regional Associations, with over 1200 companies in its membership.

The archive has been deposited with the Centre by the Coventry and District Engineering Employers' Association and its successor, the West Midlands Engineering Employers' Association, from October 1974. The last deposit was made in July 1995.
