Scope and Content

Correspondence and miscellaneous papers relating to a visit by Platt to Boston and New York in May 1976. Platt attended the Osgood Memorial celebrations at the Harvard Club, Harvard Medical School (affilliated with Massachusetts General Hospital) and visited the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. The file contains substantial correspondence with Philip D. Wilson junior, Charles Bradford and J. Englebert Dunphy (see PLA/7 for files of correspondence with these individuals), some of which discusses matters beyond basic arrangements for the trip. See PLA/12/2/11 for file on Osgood.
