Letter from Alfred Webb Johnson expressing his approval that students are now using the Dining Hall at the Nuffield College. Webb Johnson congratulates Platt on his hard work as President, saying, I doubt whether any men could have shouldered what you have done . The letter suggests that future presidents would not be able to live in the provinces but would need to move to London. Webb-Johnson praises Platt for his attempts to overhaul the administration of the College, he also suggests that there should be a special committee of management for Nuffield College, an annual meeting in London and wider distribution of financial information.
