The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, London, was founded in 1838. Platt was resident surgical officer from 1912 to 1913 and after moving to Manchester retained strong links with the Hospital. This file contains material relating to the history of the Hospital and correspondence about attempts to fill the chair of orthopaedics in 1979.
