Untitled memorandum issued by the British Orthopaedic Association on the lack of organisation for the treatment of air raid casualties, calling for the founding of an orthopaedic service and suggesting changes to the Emergency Medical Services. At a meeting between Professor McMurray, Sir Charles Gordon Watson and Rowley Bristow on 8 November 1939, a meeting was arranged with the Director General of the EMS to discuss a number of points of concern to the Association, which are listed in this document. The document is annotated by Platt.
