Administrative / Biographical History
Salem Baptist Chapel was in Blaina, Monmouthshire, now Blaenau Gwent. The original Salem Baptist Chapel was built in 1837. Prior to this date, services were held in a private house known as Ty Watkin Vaughan. Services were held on three Sundays each month are were well attended, so that the chapel was enlarged in 1842. A new chapel was completed in 1852.
