The Chairman of the Board of Governors of the London Boy Singers Association, Eric Walter White, was a friend and biographer of Benjamin Britten's and was a principal force in the organisation and development of the association. The files are made up of two series of material: minutes of meetings of the Board of Governers of the Association; and administrative correspondence, chiefly with the Association's secretary Rosamund Strode.
