Scope and Content

These files contain correspondence accumulated by Rosmund Strode in her time as Secretary of the Association. The files of purely administrative correspondence, largely dealing with the day-to-day business of the Board of Governors and their meetings, were kept separately from the financial letters, and these have therefore been divided into two separate series. There is a great deal of correspondence with other members of the Board of Governors, particularly the Chairman, Eric W. White, and some with Benjamin Britten, with whom Rosamund Strode worked on a daily basis.
