The goods and implements are specified in a schedule on the back of the document and are arranged by room, i.e. attic over the front parlour, dining room, bedroom over the parlour, front parlour, back parlour, cellar, entry, pantry, kitchen, and brewhouse, and include, for the most part, fireplaces, sash windows and door locks, which are described with measurements. [NB the Rev. Miles Bassett died in 1813 at the age of 82]D/D SH 2/15

Abstract of title of the Rev. Charles Hill and Elizabeth (née Hancorne) his wife to a house in Wind Street and stable in Fisher Street in the town of Swansea. The root of the title is a will of Richard Phillips dated 3 May 1734, devising to his wife Esther 'all that messuage, burgage or mansion house, outhouses, curtilage and garden with the appurtenances situate in a certain street called Wind Street within the Town of Swansea aforesaid then in the several tenures and occupations of his father John Phillipps, Nicholas Thorne and John Rich, and also all that malthouse by him lately purchased from his uncle Griffith Phillipps deceased and adjoining said messuage then in the possession tenure or occupation of Testator'. It describes the descent of title by will, and the purchase by Elizabeth Hancorne of a house and garden in Wind Street and stable in Fisher Street for £612 dated 24-25 Mar. 1800 [see D/D SH 2/21 above] and the marriage settlement of the Rev. Charles Hill and Elizabeth Hancorne, and concludes with an opinion as to the title and the best means of conveyance thereof.D/D SH 2/27
