To Norman Colbeck

Scope and Content

Reginald Norman Colbeck (1903-1988) was a London-based bookseller who emigrated to Canada in 1967, where he donated his private book and manuscript collection to the University of British Columbia. He was appointed curator of the Norman Colbeck Collection of Nineteenth-Century and Edwardian Poetry and Belles Lettres from 1967-1972, and produced 'A Bookman's Catalogue' (1987) in two volumes, detailing the items in his collection.

The Colbeck collection contains many books, manuscripts and letters relating to Edward Thomas.
