Photocopy of the typescript of 'Poems' by Edward Thomas ['Edward Eastaway'], published in 1917. The original in the Bodleian Library was used by the compositors. Many of the titles of the poems are in Edward Thomas' hand. Several sheets have the address: Edward Eastaway, c/o Mrs Farjeon, 137 Fellows Road, Hampstead, N.W. The original was probably the property of John Freeman, sold at Sotheby's, 24 Jul 1979 (lot 218). There is a covering letter to Myfanwy Thomas from Margaret Crum, Bodleian Library, 6 Nov 1979, at 424/1/1/6/2/1.
