Writes that she is in London for the summer because she is contracted to write a book explaining the French to the English. Believes that the project is futile because the League of Nations is "done for" and by the time the book is finished there will be full European war. Enquires after Lyn's life in Cambridge. Remonstrates that she has had no news since Lyn's marriage. Expresses hatred of Nazi Germany, refering to an article on the subject in Time and Tide July 6th.
