Malines Conversations

Scope and Content

This group of documents contains manuscript, typescript and printed reports, papers and memoranda for the conversations held at Malines between 1921 and 1926 by representatives of the Anglican and Roman Catholic churches originally held under the chairmanship of Cardinal D.J. Mercier. Many of these documents were annotated or revised by W.H. Frere and, in addition, his correspondence on the subject, comprising over 600 letters, is also deposited.
Many of the documents in this series are annotated by Frere.
