Deeds and other documents collected by James Coleman relating to Anglesey, Brecknockshire, Cardiganshire, Carmarthenshire, Caernarfonshire, Denbighshire, Flintshire, Glamorgan, Merionethshire, Monmouthshire, Montgomeryshire, Pembrokeshire, and Radnorshire, in Wales; and Cornwall, Cumberland, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Lancashire, Shropshire, and Suffolk, in England, [16th century]-[19th century].

James Coleman was a collector from London who collected over 50,000 deeds from England and Wales, including about 950 documents relating to Wales. Some of the deeds he had collected relating to Wales had been sold prior to the NLW's purchase.
