Placed in the Centre by Maj Gen (Douglas) Ashton (Lofft) Wade, via Rt Hon Sir Frederick Elwyn-Jones, who was a member of von Manstein's counsel for the defence, and Professor Ronald Harry Graveson, QC, Faculty of Laws, King's College London, in 1971. Further papers were deposited by Wade in 1988.
