Administrative / Biographical History

It was built originally as a Particular Baptist Church in 1848, at a time when Briton Ferry was beginning to grow in size due to the siting of iron works in the area. It was rebuilt in 1853 and 1861, and a Sunday School was built adjoining it in 1913.
