Tulloch was consultant dermatologist to Manchester and Salford Hospital for Skin Diseases, Royal Albert Infirmary Wigan, Hope Hospital, Eccles and Patricroft Hospital and Leigh Infirmary. He had qualified at Aberdeen University in 1938 and served in the RAF before gaining his MD in 1950. Tulloch held junior appointments at Aberdeen and MRI before being appointed senior registrar and tutor of dermatology to Bristol United Hospitals. He came to Manchester as consultant in 1963. Tulloch's main interest was staphylococcal infections of the skin. His wife Enid was also a doctor.
