Administrative / Biographical History


Taylor studied medicine at the University of Manchester and was a general practitioner in Bacup, Lancashire, for twenty years, where he was also surgeon to the police. Taylor was divisional surgeon to the St John Ambulance Brigade, and was well known in the Brigade. He died on pneumonia following influenza on 19 January 1933, he was 43.
