Scope and Content

Six loose black and white photographs, mounted on board, of the interior of St Michael’s church, Flixton, Cheshire. Each mount is printed ‘G. Watmough Webster & Son, Chester and West Kirby’.

  • ADC/4/1: Photograph of the chancel and organ in St Michael’s, Flixton, with a wall decorated with a fresco of angels playing musical instruments. Pews and an eagle lectern are visible.
  • ADC/4/2: Photograph of two stained-glass windows and archways in St Michael’s, Flixton. The wall is painted with a floral design and a fresco of angels playing musical instruments. A carved stone pulpit is in the foreground.
  • ADC/4/3: Photograph of pews in St Michael’s, Flixton, with a stained-glass window at the end of the aisle. To the left-hand side of the photograph is the organ as shown in photograph 1 and four archways, painted with a floral design.
