Dr John Newton Hudson (1897-1969) was born in Bacup, Lancashire and educated at Manchester Grammar School and Manchester University. He became a locum in Liverpool, then an assistant in Kettering, then a GP in Croydon for most of his working life, with locum work after retirement in Devon and Cheshire.
Hudson's papers are arranged to reflect his studies at the University of Manchester and are divided by subject.
