Extracts made by Clara Shaw from War Office records of the Order of the Bath, 1827 to 1843. These records (thirteen volumes) had been sent from the War Office to the Public Record Office.

Location of Originals
The current whereabouts of the original documents are unknown. In 1928 they were located in Shaw's office at the Public Record Office. The National Archives contains correspondence dated 1944 relating to the custody of records relating to the Order of the Bath which were returned to the War Office (ref.: PRO 1/607).
