Short manuscript, of which the latter half is blank, containing notes from lectures on midwifery from an unknown source. At the head of the first page is written 'author unknown' in Radford's hand. There are four distinct lectures each headed by the date on which they were given. The subjects covered include: remarks on the imagination of the mother, treatment of women after labour, breasts, scirrhous etc., cancer, nipples, venereal ulcers, fluxes, haemorrhoids, Plunket's formula, fevers, fevers of congenital duration, inflammatory fevers, miliary fever, prolapsus uteri [uterine prolapse], and moles.
