John Percival Brown 1878-1942

Brown was the son of John Brown of Bacup. He was educated at Owens College, and qualified in 1900. He joined his father in general practice at Bacup, and succeeded him as MOH in 1913. He was in the Red Cross and St John's Ambulance, and was a member of the Manchester Medico-Legal Society.
