Thomas Falkner, or Faulkner, was an apothecary in Manchester from the beginning of the eighteenth century. He was said to be an Irish Presbyterian. Falkner had a number of children, of whom Thomas, born in 1707, went on to follow a medical career (see below). Falkner was born before 1695 and was buried in Manchester in September 1741.
