Papers concerning the involvement of Moberly and Stopford in a rheumatism research campaign. The file also contains papers concerning the work of the Devonshire Royal Hospital, Buxton, the Buxton Clinic for Rheumatism and the Buxton municipal baths in connection with the National Health Act 1946 and the intention to provide a comprehensive national service for sufferers of rheumatic diseases. The involvement of Stopford resulted from his role as prospective head of the planned regional health board.
