Scope and Content

The Regional Computer Centre was established in Manchester in 1969, and provided computer services for a consortia of North West universities (including Salford, Liverpool, Keele, UMIST and Lancaster). It was overseen by a University Committee. The file includes discussion of the Computer Board's proposals for financing university computing services (see also VCA/7/859).
