The Federation of Master Printers and Allied Trades of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland was founded in Apr 1901. In June 1931 the Federation's name was changed to the British Federation of Master Printers. In April 1974 its name was changed again to become the British Printing Industries Federation.

The St Bride's Printing Library has generously presented to the Centre several volumes of Members Circulars. Annual Reviews 1980-96 were generously donated by the British Printing Industries Federation. This collection was deposited with the Centre by the British Printing Industries Federation in 1997.
Further deposits are not expected.
