Pages 1-14 are French and English versions of the Articles of Association presented by Orsi, Foucaud, Carteret, signed at the office of M Mocquard. There are 45 articles in eight chapters : 1) formation, object, denomination, seat, duration, 2) brought in, share capital, division thereof, 3) administration, 4) committee of supervision (Conseil de Surveillance), 5) general meeting of shareholders, 6) annual accounts, sinking and reserve funds, dividends, 7) modification of statutes, dissolution, liquidation, 8) disputes. On page 15, in French and English, before M Mocquard, Carteret said 200,000 shares subscribed mean Company was constituted (article 44). On pages 16-18, in French and English, before M Mocquard, the object of the Company is defined. On the next page the printed prospectus of the Company, in English, is inserted. On the next two pages, in French only, is a summary statement of the signings of the statutes between 4 December 1855 and 31 December 1855
