Under the Finance (1909/10) Act 1910, the Commissioners of Inland Revenue were required to assign a valuation to all properties in order to allow the calculation of tax due on the increase in value of the land. The work was undetraken between 1911 and 1920.
Transferred from the Public Record Office, Hayes, in January 1980, and deposited by Carmarthenshire Record Office in December 1985.
