The club was formed in December 1919 and joined with Headington Games Club in September 1921 to become Headington Ladies Games Club (hockey and cricket). By 1931 the hockey club appears to have become a separate entity again. It amalgamated with the City of Oxford Men's Hockey Club in 1983.
The collection was given to the office in September 1998 as accession 4389.
