David Mills Wilson was born on 7 December 1913 and attended the University of Glasgow from 1931-1940.
He first attended from 1931-1935, graduating BSc in Engineering in 1935. During his BSc he took the following classes:
Wilson returned to the University to study towards a PhD and graduated on 28 June 1940. His thesis, "Oils from cannel coal", can be found in the
After graduating Wilson became an engineer, and went on to lecture at the University of Edinburgh. He passed away in May 2012.
