Cowbridge Amateur Dramatic Society (CADS) was formed in 1933 and ceased performing in 1939 owing to the outbreak of the Second World War. It was reformed in 1947 from which time it has continued to stage regular performances. Since 1986 the Society has performed at the Market Theatre, Cowbridge

The first two scrapbooks include newscuttings, programmes and photographs relating to Society activities. The third contains relatively few items relating to the Society with the majority consisting of postcards and photographs of the Cowbridge area
