Over 2,500 cyclists are killed or seriously injured every year in road accidents in the UK. The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) campaigns for measures to help reduce the risk to cyclists, including cycle route networks, traffic-calming schemes, and training for cyclists and car drivers.
