This is a sketchbook of botanical drawings consisting of sheets of paper sewn together. One is signed AMJ (Anna Maria Jones), Others have inscriptions by William Jones. The specimens were drawn at Krishnagar, October 1789, September - October 1791, September - October, 1792; Harishnagar May - July, 1791, March - May 1792; and Calcutta, March 1793. Most of the sketches are in pencil with some watercolour additions.
Also within the sketchbook are some herbarium specimens.
