Letter from W.E.D. Allen to Peter Skelton with which he is returning a copy of The Venetians in Persia. He writes that he has recently heard from Dr Lehmann-Haupt of Kraus that the British Museum did not buy the Russian text. He refers to other publications in connection with the Russian Embassies project. He asks whether photstats could be made of books in the British Museum. Dated:20 April 1961.
